Science Club for Thursday, Jan. 23rd is cancelled and is rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 28th at 3:10-3:45PM
January Board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 1/22/2020 @ 7:00 pm.

The board meeting scheduled for Tonight Wednesday 1/15/ 2020 has been postponed until 1/22/2020.
Last spring, students in grades 3-6 and members of Art Honor Society met with author Stephen Kozan and participated in a writing contest to select one student to become an author of his/her own book. Katarina Askew was selected and her book, Ghostly, is now available for pre-order, with books to be distributed the first week of February during another visit from Mr. Kozan. Students are bringing home order forms today to reserve a copy of this book. Contact Mrs. Iott for additional information.
Next AC Tourney basketball games are on Wednesday, 1/15 as follows: Lady Indians vs Ballard @ 7:00PM. Indians vs Appleton City @ 8:30. Bus departs at 5:15PM.
The bus lane will be closed from January 14-23 due to construction of new sidewalks and parking. Please drop students off on 2 or down by the cafeteria.

Varsity Basketball Tonight! Kingsville @ Chilhowee. Lady Indians start at 5:00PM followed immediately by Varsity Boys. Court Warming events have been simplified and the JV game has been canceled to allow sufficient travel time for visiting team and officials due to incoming weather. #stayflexible
Due to the forecast of poor weather and possible poor road conditions tomorrow night, some changes will occur for Courtwarming. Basketball games vs. Kingsville are, at the moment, still as scheduled. The dance and coronation have been postponed. Tomorrow is still Spirit Day.
There will be no K-12 Science Club on January 16th, instead it will be held on January 23rd 3-3:45 PM
Grades Cards have been sent home with students today, please ask your kids for them.
Tomorrow evening, January 8th, the Chilhowee Parent Teacher Organization(PTO) will be meeting in the school library beginning at 5:45 p.m. All are welcome to join and bring ideas.
Appleton City Basketball Tournament Brackets are finalized. You can pick up a paper copy at the school or check the Chilhowee APP which will be updated with the most current game times/dates throughout the tournament.
