Chilhowee Lady Indians travel to Miami (Amoret) Thursday (5 Sep) for a Volleyball Tri-Meet. They play Kingsville at 6:30PM and Miami at 7:30PM. Bus departs at 3:45PM.
Lady Indian Varsity Volleyball kicks off their season tomorrow night, 03 Sep 19, on their home court versus the Northwest Hughesville Lady Mustangs.. Junior Varsity starts at 5:00PM, Varsity to follow.
Chilhowee Indians' Football kicks off the 2019 season Friday, August 30th, at home vs. the State Ranked Orrick Tigers. Kickoff is 7pm. For those of you also going to the Chilhowee Fair, we will be giving away free vouchers to the fair throughout the game.
Reminder for CHS Families; Tomorrow, Friday, August 30th is a half-day at Chilhowee School. Elementary students will be dismissed at 12pm. JH & HS students will be dismissed at 12:02pm. We hope to see you at the Chilhowee Fair!
We are still looking for a scoreboard operator and announcer for home football games. Please call the school (660-678-4511) if you are interested. This is a paid position, free entry into games, and free food and drink.

CHS Families, Students now have multiple options for lunch and need additional time to make selections, and then eat and enjoy their meal. In order to schedule additional time for students, we will be slightly adjusting lunch schedules for all grade levels staring Monday.
Yearbooks are in! If you ordered a yearbook from the 2018-2019 school year they are ready for pick up. Please have your receipt for proof of purchase during pickup if possible.
Reminder: Tonight is Back-To-School Bash from 4:30-6:30! Afterwords, we ask that all parents of 9th-12th grade students attend the "Parent Chromebook" Meeting from 6:30 to 7pm. 7th - 8th grade parents are invited too. At 7pm, we will hold a parent athletic meeting for 7th-12th.
All varsity football players should report to practice no later than 3:30 PM on Monday, August 12, you should have a physical on file. Practice will be from 3:30-6:30 PM. Junior High Football will begin practice on Monday, August 19, 2019.
Back to School Bash will be Monday, August 12, 2019 from 4:30-6:30. Come see your classroom, drop off your supplies, and meet your teachers. Afterwards at 6:30 PM please join us for a JH & HS parent meeting regarding chromebooks and at 7 PM a parent athletic meeting.

Monday, August 6, and Tuesday, August 7, 2019 is open enrollment from 8 AM to 3 PM for any new students to the district.
The gym will be closed until July 11th due to the floor being refinished.
Fun at the KC Zoo. Please prepare your child for tomorrow's sun & heat: sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses. We encourage socks and comfortable/supportive tennis shoes. You may send a water bottle with your child's name on it. Students will be responsible for personal items. Thanks!

Reminder: The CHS Boys' Basketball Camp starts today, June 24, & runs through June 27. Camp will be held at the CHS gym at 5:30pm. Incoming 6th-12th grade Boys interested in playing basketball should attend. If there are any questions please contact Coach Donald or Coach Cawelti.
All incoming 6th-12th students participating in athletics will need a physical on file before their first practice. See the attached flyer about free physicals. Also, please remember to obtain a MSHSAA physical form from your coach or the school office before your physical.
There will be a volleyball camp held July 22nd-25th from 9-11 AM for upcoming 4th Grade through 12th Grade.
